Work the Straw

As I prayed recently I saw massive amounts of water evaporating from the land, forming giant rain clouds, and releasing a huge downpour on the thirsty earth below. I believe God is saying something about this Holy “water cycle”. Is this for you? “My child, I see how you feel spent. You have given and given and given. You have poured out, and you feel like the slaves under Pharaoh... expecting the fulfillment of My words of freedom and being showered with blessings and instead being tasked with even harder work; bricks without straw. You have a task without the appropriate resources. You look up at Me asking, “what do you expect from Me??”. Pour out my love and mercy and gifts on the world! You may feel you have nothing left, but, child, what you don’t see is AS YOU BREAK THE BONDS THAT KEEP YOU CLINGING TO THE THINGS YOU ARE TO GIVE, A GREAT SHOWER OF PROVISION IS GATHERING. Just as water must break the bonds that hold water molecules together in order that they may evaporate, you must allow the chains to break on anything that keeps you from feeling you can release those things you keep holding so tightly. I have told you to release and freely give NOT SO YOU WOULD BE EMPTIED, but SO YOU WOULD BE FILLED. So My showers could rain down on you, multiplying what you’ve given and raining it down to bless you AND MANY MORE. Trust My good heart toward you. Trust that just as I instruct earthly fathers to not exasperate their children, I will not exasperate you. Lift your eyes up, and see the gathering clouds.” “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.” Matthew 10:8 (NIV) “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger [do not exasperate them to the point of resentment with demands that are trivial or unreasonable or humiliating or abusive; nor by showing favoritism or indifference to any of them], but bring them up [tenderly, with lovingkindness] in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:4 (AMP)
