"After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of Him to every town and place where He was about to go. He told them 'The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord, therefore to send out workers into His harvest field'." Luke 10:1-2 I had a vision of the Lord releasing His people like worker bees into the fields. Just like bees pollinating, those God is sending out will help new endeavors to bloom and fruit to be produced for the kingdom. But bees need the hive. Each has its job and gifts and all live to serve the needs of the hive. Even the queen is a servant to her hive by dedicating her life to birthing new bees. The greatest among you will be your servant. Matthew 23:11 Just like in Luke where they are sent two by two, we are not sent out alone. Our version of pollinating...Is to LOVE. It is love that produces a fruitful harvest, creates new things, and causes hearts to bloom. The kind of love that makes God's work our passion and takes on His heart for others. Exodus 23:28 says "I will send hornets ahead of you so that they will drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites before you." Hornets cleared the way for God's people to take possession of the land. We are the stingers in the enemy's plans. Not only does our love make our promised land fruitful, but our "stingers" drive out the enemy from the land and reclaim it for the kingdom. Division, offense, and isolation are dividing our "hive". We have been deeply wounded by people. While we must guard our heart, we and the body suffer when a guarded heart turns into a walled heart. The desire for closeness with the rest of the body may be soured in you, but God is creating sweetness out of that decay. "When he returned later to take her, he turned aside to look at the carcass of the lion; and behold, a swarm of bees and honey were in the body of the lion." Judges 14:8 Where old wounds have festered, God is pouring his sweet honey of reconciliation. Love God. Love people. Leave the rest to Him.
